Paid 5 days ago, item stil not sent-can I cancel?

I bought [buy it now] an item on 23rd feb, it says 'seller posts within 2 days of cleared payment' my payment was instant so they must have had it straight away.

Ive never had this issue before, what can I do?

Can I cancel?

Item is in Hong Kong, ive ordered from there before and not had a problem, dispatch is usually prompt but obviously delivery takes a while.

By not sent I mean when I go to purchase history its not showing as sent.

you could ask the seller to refund, but they do have 7 days to post an item as per eBay rules.

Not all sellers mark items as sent. If its coming from HK it could take a couple of weeks.

yes i was going to say just that QED, not all sellers mark items as dispatched. I find items from Hong Kong can take a month to arrive too.

Can you not message them and ask if it has been sent yet?

Yes stuckup, I am certainly expecting a bit of a wait for actual delivery.

I wish they would mark as sent though.

I think i'll message them tomorrow and check if its been sent yes.

I have had items arrive from Hong Kong in a week and they haven't been marked as posted so the parcels arriving were a huge surprise!
