Buyer has refused royal mail delivery

I sold an expensive air brush set on eBay on Saturday and the buyer has constantly messed me around constantly anyway. I sent him the two parcels yesterday and I've now revived a eBay message from him 'royal mail tried to deliver the package this morning. I have refused it'
I've checked it with royal mail tracking and it says that one of the parcels has been refused and the other one is still in the system.
Im not sure what's going on? If he refuses the second parcel do I have to refund him including the postage and loose out?

I hope this all makes sense I'm posting from my phone and can't scroll back to check!

yes sadly he is entitled to full refund. what if he accepts the next parcel - was it 2 separate transactions or only 1 with 2 parcels. Could get messy. Why has he refused it anyway, sounds odd?

LaurieFairyCake · 21/02/2012 15:45

eh? does he not want it?

LonelyNights · 21/02/2012 15:55

I don't know why he's refused it, he put no reason to explain, it was two parcels for the same transaction.
one parcel was alot heavier than the other so I presume one would be going with the postman and the other being delivered with a royal mail van maybe? Im sure he'll refuse that one also!
Arrgh it's buyers like this that make you want to just give up with eBay altogether!

make sure you add him to your blocked bidder list so he can't cause further trouble. Once you get items back do a mutual cancellation, if he ignores it you will get your final fees back, but if he refuses it you won't get those refunded.

I will do thank you Smile
What happens if he Accepts the second parcel?!

I guess you will need to get him to send it back, or could he claim a full refund. Keep hold of tracking info anyway, you can even add it to the eBay payment now so there is a record of it. The tracking info will be for the in the system item, not the refused one if that makes sense.

why is he refusing it anyway - sounds odd. Did he change his mind after you sent it?
