Ive bid on something that I no longer want. Im currently the winning bidder. Can I ask someone to remove my bid?

If not and I'll win I will put it down to experience and pay for the item (that goes without saying), but it would be easier to have my bid removed.

You can ask the seller, but they don't have to do it.

Thanks. Unfortunately I dont have any reason to remove my bid other than I just dont want the item anymore. Oh well that will teach me to bid so far in advance. I should just watch an item and when the bidding closes bid on it if I still want it. Oh well live and learn. Luckily it will only cost me £15 at the very most so will just put it down to a lesson learned.

just select entered wrong amount - you're not being dishonest retracting a bid.
