How long do you wait before opening a non paid case?

I sold an item on Monday. Heard nothing from the seller so emailed them on Thursday to ask if they could please make payment by Friday so I could post before the weekend and if there is any problems to contact me. Still no payment and not heard from the buyer. What now? Open a case or wait a bit longer?

I always open on day 4, then close asap, which is 4 days later. If they're not going to pay best get it done then you can relist or do second chance offer.
