Trying to place a sale on ebay, filled in all fields, got pictures on etc. I want to set a reservice price of 30.00 but it won't let me - keep getting a red message saying 'please enter a reserve price of GDP 50.00' - which I think is too high! Any ideas???

That's the minimum reserve price. If you want to sell it at £30 then you need to list it as a buy it now only

Oh, I didn't realise - I thought you could set a minimum price at what ever you wanted! Thanks for letting me know.

you can't - the minimum reserve is £50 - you will just have to start it at £30 if that is the minimum you will accept for the item, or set it as a buy it now of £30.

Why not just have a starting price of £20/£25 then if it doesn't sell you don't lose out too much

Thanks for advice - it didn't occur to me that the starting price would determine what I would accept! Such a fool! Have done it now, with a starting price of 25.00, so fingers crossed I get a sale! thanks again!
