I'm selling a car and I know its not overpriced going off what other cars are advertised for on ebay and elsewhere, I've done my homework re mileage, bodywork etc, in fact, there are a couple of other ones the same on ebay at the moment for same price.

Its a classified ad on for 28 days and so far has had approx 1300 views with 62 people adding it to their watch list. But, so far, no offers and no one wishing to view it.

Its not an auction so people arent waiting until the last minute, its on as a classified or a best offer. We've had a couple of calls asking for info (which is already on the advert) but thats about it.

Why would so many people view / watch it if they arent interested in buying it.

Oh, and there are cars for sale exactly the same with dealers for about 40% more so it is a good price.

I put anything I am remotely interested in on my watch list. I have no intention of bidding on 99% of what I list but it just provides a simple alternative to searching through the whole mass of postings when I want to review items and previous sales prices.

You cannot equate watchers to bidders to sales.
