Is Ebay postage creeping up?

Eba postage seems to be getting more expensive - or it just me? Just been looking at a couple of things for dd. A pair of trousers - just one! - with postage of £4 and a top - again just one! - £3. That seems excessive to me.

I have noticed some sellers are charging more. I saw a t shirt I liked for ds, the postage was £3.50. Ridiculous. I bid on a nother one and the postage was £1.25. I understand charging a bit extra for packing materials, time, ebay fees etc but £3.50 for a kids t shirt is taking the pee.

I sell a lot of clothes and I pay for the postage via paypal - but there is no 2nd class option, and I always use recorded signed for which is 75p more. So yes, maybe you will pay a bit more. But if you get a bargain for 99p the seller isn't exactly making much.

This was standard postage not signed for. The seller didn't make anything out of me - I declined to bid!
