Hi all, new-ish to ebay, but I know there are people here who make a living from it, so i'd like your advice.

I won an item on January 23rd. I paid immediately. For information, its not a pricey item (less than £8.00 inc postage). Estimated delivery was January 27th.

I have had no correspondence from the seller, although they are clearly active as they are adding new items.

On January 26th I emailed to ask if she could confirm the item had been dispatched. No response.

Today I've emailed to ask her politely, again, to let me know if the item has been dispatched.

I know I probrably seem antsy, but its not going to fit through my letterbox, i'd like to have an idea of when to expect it.

To be honest, im not very hopeful of a response. What can I do?

Thanks.

I would wait til monday and if you haven't had it email them again. You can open a case for not received but not sure when you can do this....fergoose will come along soon and say something helpful.....

I agree - if you don't hear within a week I would initiate a dispute - so maybe start not received process tomorrow. Does the listing state a dispatch time on it? Is the seller actively leaving feedback for others or just receiving feedback?

The new listings could have been scheduled in advance, so something may have gone wrong with the seller and they may be away from the computer at the moment.

Thanks all. There have been new auctions started, and she's left feedback for other buyers etc - she's definitely there.

Think I'll leave it until I'm next off on Weds and follow it up then.

Thank You. Smile

JambalayaCodfishPie - have you sent an email to the seller or messaged them through eBay? You should always message through eBay for things like this. If the seller is active on eBay they will see it and eBay have a record of the conversations.

Have you checked in your "Purchase History" to see if the item is listed as dispatched? If so it should give you a posting date and the service used.
