No communication from seller

won a pushchair on Friday.

Prior to bidding I twice asked the seller for photos of the pushchair as he has used a stock photo. No reply. I then asked him what model it was as in his description said one thing and in the listing title another. The differences mean one is suitable from birth and the other isn't. Again no reply. However in the item specifics states suitable from birth and adjustable back rest.

Given all the above I probably shouldn't have bid but the pushchair rarely comes up with a courier option so I took a risk.

Paid immediately and emailed asking seller to confirm which model prior to arranging courier. Well that was 76 hours ago and nothing.

So what can I do. Wait and see what turns up, if not as described raise a dispute, return at my cost and negative feedback.

Or refuse delivery- what would happen if I did this?

Even if item arrives and is what I want would it be a neutral or negative due to terrible communication?

I would refuse delivery if I were you then you can file item not as described and get your money back without the need for paying for a return

Or you could log into paypal and do item not received now, but I think you may have to wait a few more days to do this

To be honest in light of stock photo and lack of comms I wouldn't want to buy and would rather spend my money elsewhere.

Am tempted. Do you think I should email them one final time asking for replies or I will refuse delivery. Can I still neg?

Yes you can still neg. Wait until the transaction is over until you think about feedback

Why don't you pull their details and phone them?

onadietcokebreak · 23/01/2012 09:17

Good idea . Will work out how to do that. I do want this pushchair just not if it's not suitable from birth. I can't get a definitive answer from google!

Reported and email sent- if no reply within 24 hours so I start a dispute? If so will it have to be item not received. Delivery is 3-5 days. So tuesday/Wednesday as doesn't state working days only.

OP posts:

yes it would be a not received dispute and if it does turn up you can refuse delivery

Hi still not any further forward on this - seller finally contacted me tuesday saying Internet problems now fixed. No real apology. Said pushchair suitable from birth, no marks on frame or seat. However raincover damaged. No replys to mine asking what they mean.

Sent them message thursday saying as you aren't communicating I'm not accepting goods. Still nothing.

Went into eBay to raise a dispute. Apparently I brought it on US site and can't do a not received til 31st.

Really annoyed and will be leaving neg feedback.

can you log into paypal.co.uk direct and start a dispute there now - or have they changed it so you have to wait now?

mebbe worth a try?

onadietcokebreak · 28/01/2012 20:45
