hi i won a wind up torch on ebay payed as a pp guest ,just looked on ebay selller refund ,never gort a reason why ,can they do this also how do i get my money back

ps seller has relisted item too

sorry I don't understand - the seller has refunded you already then or they told you they would refund and they haven't done it yet?

Did you buy it as a good price and maybe seller wanted more money for the item?

i payed for my item today then went out came back to check and it said seller refund on the £ mark no msg from them just refund but i paid as pp guest

so they have already refunded you then I guess.

I don't know - have you emailed the seller and asked why?

ive asked then no reply or an email to say why they repayed me

This happened to me a couple of months ago and it was frustrating because I didn't realise for ages and was waiting for the delivery, and eventually spotted the 'payment refunded' symbol. I emailed the seller to ask about it and they never replied, so I contacted eBay and they said that this was something they like you to report because the seller is breaking a contract. Basically the implication was that sellers do this if they find that their item has sold for less than they wanted to sell it for, and the eBay staff member said that it is very helpful if everybody reports people for doing this to minimise that practice. Sorry that's a long-winded explanation... I'm too tired to self-edit! But HTH

I agree - report as non performing seller. You can still leave feedback can you - so leave a neg for them too.
