I sold a set of Moshi Monster stickers on BIN on 8th. Invoice sent plus a follow up a few days later. Still no payment so raised a NPB dispute on 12th. When can I close it?

Goodness, you need to give them time. You started a dispute after 4 days. A lot can happen in 4 days, maybe they are unwell or have no internet connection? Slow down!!

You were quite right to open a dispute on day 4 - you can close it on day 7 and get your fees back and then either relist or do a 2nd chance offer. So if you opened it at 8pm on the 12th you should be able to close it at 8pm today.

This gives the buyer 7 days to pay which is more than enough.

LadySybil - I am not normally so quick to open a dispute (usually give them at least 7 days) but this was 1 of 2 identical BIN sets I had for sale where the buyer could pick which stickers they wanted from a list. They won at 03.45am and another buyer bought the other set later that morning (@10.30am) and paid straight away.

They messaged to say they didn't mind which 10 I sent so I messaged the first buyer to see if they had a preference - as they had "bought" first. I specify in my listing that I post within 3 days and waited this time to see if they'd answer but as they hadn't I just picked 10 to send to the 2nd buyer. I messaged the first buyer again telling them which were left and if they still wanted to proceed. It is 8 days later now and I've still had no message from them!

In all honeslty I don't know why I'm justifying myself to you as it is in Ebay rules that I can raise a NPB dispute after 4 days anyway!

Fergose - Thanks. I can't remember the time I raised the dispute (I think it was sometime in the evening!) - so I'll wait until tomorrow to close it.
