Opened a non-payment case, they then arranged collection time but now haven't turned up

Sold a small table for £25 on ebay, finished a week ago, the buyers didn't reply to messages asking when they would collect. I then opened an unpaid item case and all of a sudden they said they'd come and collect it at lunch today but they haven't turned up.

What should I do now? On Monday the unpaid item case will end, what happens then? Do I get to leave feedback for them? Will it be on their record for others to see that they were non-payers?
Do I relist the table? Can I do a second chance offer (I'm not really sure what that even is!)

Close the case on Monday and get your fees back first of all. They will get a strike, but you can't leave a neg or a negative comment on a positive rating. But if they have a few strikes their account could be restricted, or even lost. I'm not sure how many strikes it is, may be 3 in 6 months but I honestly don't know. The strikes aren't visible to others though.

Once that is done you can either do a second chance offer or re-list - just wait till you get your fees back first.

Thanks for that, I didn't know that about strikes. We didn't pay a listing fee thankfully, I don't know why but when I listed it can up as £0.00 for fees so nothing to claim back. Its just that we really need the space and need to be rid of the table.

What if they email tomorrow and say they will come an collect it tomorrow? I don't want to have to sit in all afternoon again waiting to see if they bother to turn up. If they email and try to arrange again can I tell them tough or do I need to wait for them again?

But you will have been charged a final value fee which is 10% of the sale price so you will get that back after you close the case

Tell them a set time to collect or not to bother is my advice - I wouldn't sit in and wait again.

I didn't know that about end fees, I will want that back. Thanks - I'm a bit clueless about ebay!
