Best way to sell Mamas & Pappas cotbed and pushchair on ebay

I'm an ebay virgin, though DH has a little used account with 100% feedback.

I want to sell cotbed & pushchair. Any advice about wording, reserve, how long to list for etc would be much appreciated.

TIA

never, ever accept paypal for collection - cash only

ensure items end in the evening - but don't clash with the soaps. I find Mon and Tues nights best about 8.30pm. I normally do a 7 day listing, always good to have it running over a weekend so folk have time to browse at the weekend when they have more time. I think many don't want to wait 10 days as it is a long time away, but I may be wrong. Alternatively list a buy it now then it doesn't matter on your ending time.

lots of clear pictures - list any faults and give and measurements

Search on eBay for completed listings to find how much an item will sell for - search as normal for item then scroll down and on left hit completed listings and you can view what sold, or didn't sell, and prices etc too.

Many people believe start at 99p and an item will find its own price - others start higher or add a reserve. The lowest reserve you can add is £50. Starting higher, adding reserve, buy it now all add to your costs when listing.

I sold some stuff on Ebay but I didn't really get a fair price when I did it at first due to being a newbie.
As Fergoose says do a completed listings check- you need to sign in 1st to do this. Have an idea in your own mind of the lowest price you will accept.

I got a much better price selling in my Local paper- big stuff and car boots for smaller stuff. Cots in particular seem to do poorly on ebay IMHO
