Paypal e-cheque did not clear -now what?

I recently sold a cardi on eBay. The buyer chose to pay by Paypal e-cheque, however I heard today that their cheque had not cleared. Am I obliged to offer the item to them - I'd rather not, having waited forever for them to a) pay and b) wait for the cheque to clear?

I don't want to risk negative feedback by doing the wrong thing, but I am desperate to get this cleared out (mad nesting behaviour in progress :o) and can't be bothered waiting for an old fashioned cheque to arrive and clear.

can you open a case for a non performing buyer - if you can that's what I would do

From my eBay go to account then resolution centre then I haven't received payment and then take it from there

Once closed you can relist or do a 2nd chance offer.

Thanks fergoose. I think I can - will take a look tonight. Chuffing annoying - 2nd issue I've had with non payers in as many weeks :(.
