What feedback do I leave?

I am not used to leaving negative or neutral feedback but this item needs it. I bought and paid for a buggy board for my sister on the 20th December, I also paid £9.99 for 24hour courier. Ebay's order details stated should have been delivered 23rd. That date came and went, I since emailed the seller twice with no reply, I was starting to think about opening a case and got an email to say it had been despatched on 31st Dec. There is no mention of any extra delays, apart from Christmas of course, this is why I only emailed over the 11 days. Does this deserve negative feedback or neutral.

When did you get the buggy board? Have you contacted the seller and requested a partial refund as the item wasnt despatched to you in time? I think you need to do this first before you can leave negative feedback, well at least give the seller a chance to resolve the situation first.

Contact them and ask why the listing stated 24 hour courier, this is what you paid for, yet it has taken this long for them to dispatch your item. Give them a chance to give a partial refund or something, then leave a neutral if it's okay when it arrives, or a negative if you're really not happy with anything.

I agree, start dispute or get refund first then think about feedback. Oh and if you want bad stars to count you need to mark them as 1 star - leaving them blank doesn't count as a black mark, but 1 star does.

I would prob leave a neg if no comms and no item by now - just say 'non performing seller, no communication no sign of item'

Don't mention paypal or dispute in your feedback as it can be removed.

I got the buggy board today which I suppose is 24 working hours from 31st. I have email the seller several time asking why it hadn't been despatched as I had paid for 24hour courier but no reply! I have had a look at the sellers feedback profile and they sent items out that where paid for around the same time that where received before but did notice that the bad feedback they have is down to the item they say 24 hour courier.

When I recently had a good item that was dispatched way too slowly, I left a neutral, and comment stating same, "lovely item, dispatched X days after payment" And marked the appropriate stars right down. I had emailed in between about where the item was and had no reply too.

Thanks festive I think I will do that sounds just right, the item is great just took ages to arrive, even with the holidays.

did they give a dispatch time in the listing? As although it came on a 24hr courier they make take x number of days to send it - iykwim!

keepingupwiththejoneses · 03/01/2012 18:14

The listing states 2 working days for delivery, 24 hour courier but nothing about despatch time, I presume that means 1 day for despatch.

I have left neutral feedback ' good item, no comms from seller, 11 days for despatch', 4 stars on description and 1 on the others.
