Bundles of kids clothes - do they sell ok?

I've never sold anything on ebay before but we are skint and have another baby due in April so am going to try and really want to make a bit of cash. I have lots of baby girl clothes and wondered if it's worth just putting bundles on. Some still have lables on (mamas & papas, disney, next, etc) and I'm not sure if I should group by age, brand or by new/old. Or in your experience is it best to list individually?

I also have stuff like a moses basket with beddings still in packaging, Radley bag and purse in decent condition and a few other bits but not sure if they'd sell ok.

Thanks if you read all that and can help!

I would group any bundles by age/size if I were you.

I really don't know about bundles versus individual items - if you search on eBay then on the left scroll down to completed listings you can look at prices items can achieve. I wouldn't risk starting a bundle at 99p incase that is all you achieve. You could always list at buy it now prices, perhaps with best offer, but doing this will cost you eBay fees.

Larger items, you can courier, but get prices first. I always say end listings of an evening, I find Mon & Tues best. Use lots of clear photos, list any flaws and any measurements. And anything of value (I say over a tenner, but it is up to you on this) send recorded delivery, or special delivery/courier if over £46 to protect you from lost items or fraudulent claims.

Oh and a good courier is collect plus - if near to you, you can drop off for delivery and no need to wait for courier to collect from you. And I often find cheaper than royal mail, good for bundles of clothing if under 2KG it only costs £3.99.

Do an advanced search on completed items and see how well particular items have sold.

If you have items with tags from the same store, it might be worth grouping them together.

Branded stuff usually sells well but I have found that general mothercare babygros etc don't sell that well.

Things with reliable labels (ie. people know what sizes to expect) go well, especially Next, Boden etc.

Bundles are good but sell them just ahead of season.

Bundles with mixed ages don't sell.

Outfits sell well.

Bright colours sell well.

Baby clothes don't sell well in general.

i find that people are generally expecting things that are nearly new.

Thanks so much, that's all really useful. I'll have a look at the courrier service you recommended Fergoose. And searching for completed listings is a good idea, I wouldnt have thought of that Blush

Thanks very much for helping me with all of that advice, really appreciate it. I feel a bit scared of getting started in case I mess up/get ripped off/get bad feedback. Think I'll just list maybe 1 bundle or 1 outfit and then take it slowly.
