Does anyone know if I can transfer money to another account that's not in my name?

Selling something for a friend on ebay and would like to transfer straight from my paypal account to her bank account. Is it possible or will the funds be sent back to me as the account I'm sending it too is not in my name?

You can do this yes. You just use send a payment if she has PayPal, using the email address she has registered with.

I don't know if you can add a bank account to your paypal if it is in a different name to be honest - but I wouldn't add it as you wouldn't want access to another's account just in case you make payments and they come out of their account by mistake.

Prob best to just give them the cash after transferring to your a/c
