Not sure if I've made a grave error here. Have put almost new P&T pram on starting at 99p to encourage bidders, week long listing. Bidding is only up to 16 quid so far!!! 3 more days to go. Aaaargh! Can I do anything? Am I complete muppet??

I have nearly 2000 feedback (100% positive) and I've been buying since 2002 so pretty experienced these days. I know the market and watch things like a hawk. Sniping is good because you can set a maximum and not go over it, no fear of getting carried away. Well done on £305 that's a good price.

I am an awesome sniper too but (as a buyer) get very pissed off with the amateurs who start bidding each other up with about 30 mins to go Hmm

PippiLongBottom · 15/12/2011 21:55

Yeah me too. Dicks. Grin

PippiLongBottom · 15/12/2011 21:55

Sniping is fairer IMO because you all set a limit.

Sorry, whats sniping? I have no idea what that means but sounds like fun ;-)

If you would be really pissed off if it went for less than £50 then don't start at 99p with no reserve.

Equally, if you put in £20 and someone else puts in £20.01 they are not a cheapskate, they are just cannier than you.

Don't bitch or whine when people play by the rules (the rules that you are perfectly aware of) and things don't go your way.
