Lots of toys after Christmas?

Are there usually lots of toys on ebay after Christmas, or do people sell things in the run up?

I've got a birthday in early January. I have what I want really (a starter train set), but thought I might get a few extensions and wondered if I might have luck after Christmas. Things are going very high at the moment.

Prices will be a lot lower after christmas, e-bay prices are sky high at the moment as everyone is rushing to buy the dc's what they have asked for. I would wate, there will also be lots of sales after christmas.

I think I will then.

Do people sell off unwanted gifts after Christmas or do they wait until next November / December?

yes, even on Christmas day there will be lots of new listings stating unwanted present - I reckon many list as soon as presents have been opened.

But yes I would wait till after Christmas if you want a bargain.

Good for me I suppose, though it's not a very nice idea.

Certain things are selling fairly cheap now, I find, actually, there are simply too many listings so supply is up and demand not that high. I am very intrigued to see what will happen after Xmas.

Children's clothes don't seem to be going for much.
