What is normal postage time from America at this time of year?

And does christmas post make things loads slower?

I would say a week, but it can take longer because of Xmas. If something gets sent tracked and to be signed for that usually speeds up delivery.

Also depends on which part of the USA it is coming from too. East Coast things tend to arrive a lot quicker than West.

I've been waiting nearly 3!!!
It was sent first class priority mail from Utah (which is west coast). I haven't got a tracking number or owt like that....What can I do?

BAD. Very slow. I am not surprised you've waited 3 weeks already.
5-7 days is normal, but nr. Xmas is not a normal time.
Utah is NOT west coast, btw, well, not geographically, anyway.
I would email the seller & ask what they propose to do if it hasn't arrived in another 7 days.

I mean I know they have planes there & whatnot but I imagine the system is set up better in the more international centres

I said west coast as it's more west than east But yeah I guess not actually near the coast!

I have emailed the seller and she says all I can do is wait as she can't track it once it's left the US.

What can the seller do if it doesn't arrive by next week? It's not her fault if the post is slow is it? I doubt she'd refund me as then she'll have lost her item and her money...
I'm not sure what the procedure is on ebay?
