Nightmare courier

Short version: if I try to order something on a courier website (parcel2go, in this case), and a click later it's back to the "submit order" page, does that mean that my order didn't go thru? What do I assume? How the bloody hell do I actually make an order to collect?

Medium length version: their help system is offline!!

Long version:

I have a parcel which measures 155cm long, just a nudge too long for RM Parcels.

Quoted (cheapest, still 2.50 more than I budged for, but heyho) 6.96 via parcel2go, using Citibank.
Tried to fill everything in carefully, got to the final page that takes credit card details, with hyperlinked image that says "Buy/checkmark" page, clicked on it... nothing. Long wait. Clicked again, Nothing. 3rd click: Buy image changed to "submitting"... but only briefly, then back to "Buy: checkmark" image. Tried a fourth time, "submitting" appeared briefly, but then back to "Buy: checkmark" icon.

What have I done? Just ordered 4 collections? Or 2? Or none? I haven't been led to the page where I get to print off any labels, yet.

This is WHY I NEVER use Blardy couriers. Post Office is so easy.

Oh joy, Parcel2go is down completely now. Effects of Cyber-Monday, I guess. I dare not arrange another courier until I know what's in their system, luckily buyer is easy-going about when item will be delivered, but all the same, NIGHTMARE

pah, no insights, then?
I've decided that no confirmation email = no order placed.
Just hope my debit card statement agrees!!

they are normally quite quick about sending a confirmation email

Thanks Dizzy... I think I found another courier (Parcelsplease, at last!!), charge is 12 quid which is £7.50 more than RM Parcels would charge if the item were 6cm shorter (sigh). And I have to remember to put the parcel out front tomorrow, when I am going to be out (school & stuff). But they were nice on the phone and I really think it's all going to happen now :).

Oh well...live and learn!!
