Item showing as unpaid when I have paid

I bought 3 items yesterday in 1 transaction and paid through paypal immediately. However, one of the items is showing up as if I've not paid when in fact I have, I've got both my paypal and ebay confirmation emails to show that payment was sent. The other 2 items have gone through fine and have been posted already!
Does anyone know why this has happened? Should I contact the seller to check they've got the payment (but don't want to inadvertantly open a can of worms!)? Should I manually mark as payment sent on my purchase history?

contact the seller - their email address could be wrong on that 1 listing

don't mark it paid yet - as seller won't have the payment yet

Thanks, I've checked on my paypal account and it said the transaction was complete, should I still contact the seller?

yes, because if the paypal payment went to an incorrect email address the seller won't have received it

they could have just one digit or letter incorrect on the payment email address

Did you use the new Shopping Basket thingy? I did this the other day, two showed paid and 1 didn't. I checked Paypal and it showed as paid, so I emailed the seller explaining, he checked his end and confirmed it was paid. I think he had to manually set it to paid his end.

I won't use the shopping basket again, just do it the old fashioned way, 1 item at a time.

I have recently had a number of people who are slow to pay, and I've been getting low DSRs on postage times even though I post same day or next, so I think they have been using the basket too and its just not telling me they've paid if you see what I mean.

Yes, MrsZoidberg, I used the shopping cart thing (and won't be bothering again!), two have shown up as paid but one hasn't. I've contacted the seller to check. As its still showing the 'Pay Now' thing on ebay I clicked and it just takes me straight to my receipt so I couldn't pay again even if I wanted to!

This happened to me and they didnt send the item as it showed as unpaid in their eBay however when they checked their emails they had received payment notifications.

I've contacted the seller so hopefully they'll check and see that I have paid
