I am having major problems since they started insisting you accept Paypal. There isn't an option to select "accept Paypal" but if I just leave that section I get told I must accept Paypal. If I tick another payment method, I get told I must accept Paypal.
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh. Am in discussion with their tech help but I cannot be the only one

yes I have the same! DH was trying to tell me it was my settings so am glad to hear it's not just me.

We all use chrome at work (eBay business) and have never had any problems? I also use it at home and no problems?

StealthPolarBear · 04/12/2011 18:07

Really? So ST when you get to the bit about accepting payment, is there a tick box for PayPal?

There is a "seller" setting, or whatever they're called for always accepting Paypal, and mine is set correctly.

No it is automatically ticked (if that makes sense?). Is your eBay account and Paypal account already linked?

StealthPolarBear · 04/12/2011 19:40

EXACTLY! That's what i have been trying to tell this guy. There is no tick box to select paypal as you HAVE to accept it. But then the validastion thinks I haven't selected it Angry

What do you mean by linked?

Don't know if this is the solution or not....

Here's how to link your eBay account to your PayPal account:

  1. Go to My eBay > Addresses > View all postal addresses.
  2. In the 'About addresses' section, check to see if there's a PayPal account linked to your eBay account. If there's not, click 'Add PayPal addresses' and sign into your PayPal account.

As soon as you do this, your eBay and verified PayPal account will be linked.
If there's already a PayPal account linked to your eBay account, check to make sure it's the right one. If it's not, remove it and link to the correct one by clicking 'Add PayPal addresses'.
