counting thing on listings

sorry I don't know it's official name! On some listings that i look at they have a counter at the bottom so you can see how many people have looked at it. How do you put them on your listings? On things I don't sell I am always curious as to wether anybody even had a look. TIA

it's one of the options when you make your listing, think it's on the same page as when you choose your layout etc if you want one

if you go into revise your item you scroll down and you can add it, either hidden or choose which style you want.

Done it, very easy and obvious. Never seen that option before! Thank you. Feel a bit silly now Blush

Is only easy when you know how - don't feel silly! :) I use the hidden one so only I know how many views an item has had.

Is it better to have a hidden one? I thought it might encourage people to bid if they could see how many people had looked at it. Also if the same person looks more than once does it count as an extra 'looker'?

I don't know if many people look to be honest or it it does make a difference - and views doesn't always mean bids, but you could be right.

same person looking only counts as 1 view as far as I know

That's good to kknow. Thanks!
