Returns....

I am always happy to refund something if it has a fault, or if I have made an error when describing it.. but this morning I have had a return request by someone with a feedback of 3, their reason being "wasnt what I expected".

Now this is a pair of earrings, with VERY clear photograph, detailed description including measurements, so how it can not be what they expected I have absolutely no bloody idea.

Do I have to accept a return on that basis?

It has pissed me off as I know if I dont refund, they are bound to give me a neg... but equally, I am not Littlewoods sodding catalogue either ffs...

well if the buyer opens a not as described case with eBay you probably will have to accept a return - if I were you I would ask her to return at her expense then you can refund and relist.

this happened to me. the buyer made up all sorts of faults and said it wasn't as described (when it was!!!!!) she opened a case but i refunded her before ebay could make me. she still left me negative feedback though after a refund and i can't relist it cos she put what was 'wrong' with it in her feedback. The silly moo.

Grrr! Some people are just ridiculous. If you want shop service, go to the shop and pay 3 times the price for something new.

I asked her to change her feedback as i had already refunded her so there was no need for neg. She did change it eventually to neutral but just wrote the same thing so what was the point!!!! it still makes me very Angry when i think about it! My feedback was 100% and hers wasn't too good so I'm thinking she was just trying to ruin me Angry

This morning I had a request to return a dress as it didn't fit well. I would not bother doing this and I am not a frigging shop!!

If it were me I'd just put it back on ebay myself - as I actually had done with this dress originally!
