Gold jewelry

I have a few pieces of 14 carat gold jewelry I wnat to sell.
I have only worn the items twice at the most and they have just been sitting in my jewellry box.

One of them is a fine charm bracelet in yellow 14 k Gold
The other is a gold heart pendant necklace in yellow 14 k gold

I have no idea how much I can sell these for. Can anyone give me some kind of idea?

I don't know about eBay but I know independent jewellers can often give you a good price - get a couple of quotes is my advice, instant money and no eBay, paypal fees and cost of posting items. Please don't use any of the postal buying gold companies by the way, independent high street jewellers are the way to go by all accounts.

you can search completed items on eBay to get an idea of achievable prices too for your items. Just search, then scroll down and hit completed items on the left hand side.

as fergoose says independent jewellers not a chain like samuels, not a cash for gold type thing

had friend who had collection of gold watch stopped working some broken chains one of these TV sharks types offered her £85 she refused wnt to jewllers in town weighed the stuff took workings out of watch to wiegh it offered her £400 on the spot

14 carat is about 58% gold average wedding ring about 3grammes pure gold is worth over 1000$ per ounce of course in jewellry not pure and some work to reduce to solid gold again but in this case don't go ebay route unless you are an expert on reading hallmarks
