Asking for a BIN?

Is this a bit cheeky, or something that people do?

I'm watching the perfect present for DD's birthday - it's exactly what I want to get her, and it's the only one local enough to pick up - too big to post.

Would it be reasonable to email the seller and ask if they'd put a BIN now?

(And should I suggest an amount?!)

depends on how may other bidders there are on the item ? if there are a few then I guess the seller will just wait to get the highest price he can ! - how much is the item up for now ? and how much would you expect to pay in the shops for it ?

No other bidders at the moment. It's on at a 99p start, and you'd get one new for about £65.

you can always ask for a buy it now price - it is allowed but some sellers will refuse, some will be glad of the sale.

Thanks. Just seen there's now a bid on it, but I suppose there's no harm in asking!
