Can someone advise me please

Sorry not AIBU but can someone help please as I've not received a response on the eBay board and could do with a quick reply:

I just sold some jeans on eBay, stating postage to UK only. The buyer who won contacted me after the listing had ended to say she had moved to Sweden and can I change the postage to £10 so I can post it there.

Her paypal address is in a different name and in Brighton, yet her eBay account says her Sweden address.

Having only sold three or four things on eBay before I don't know what to do! What do you suggest? And I wouldn't have a clue how to change the invoice!

Having looked again the address on eBay is also the Brighton address, she hand wrote the Sweden address on the bottom of her message!

I think that you have to send it to the address stated by PayPal otherwise you aren't covered. I'd get back in contact with the woman and say yes you can but first she needs to change her addresses and then needs to pay the extra postage (you can invoice that through PayPal by clicking 'request
Money')

Ok thanks, I wasn't sure whether she was allowed to do it or not. Thought it was a bit rude as she didn't message me before she bid to confirm I'd be happy to post international.

Make sure she changes the address officially, otherwise it might be a hacked account. If she won't change it, let eBay and paypal know.

She could be trying to rip you off. I heard something about how paypal may not protect a seller if they post internationally.

Thank you, I replied to her saying that she would need to update PayPal and eBay with the correct address before I posted it, and that I would need to get the exact postage amount before amending the invoice.

Thanks for your help, it makes sense if it is a hacked account, especially as the names are different!
