Do you ship abroad? Is it hassle?

I'm selling a doll and I usually say I'll only ship to the UK as I don't want the hassle of sending abroad and have no idea how to figure its cost.

A buyer from Finland is desperate for this doll and I don't know whether to make an exception for her or not - the bidding ends tonight.

I have shipped to the USA quite successfully.
Would like to see other people's experience of Europe.

No hassle at all, just charge accordingly - go to the royal mail price finder, you can find out from there how much your package will cost (weigh the doll on your kitchen scales)

I've never had issues with posting abroad.

Bugger - royal mail is down! tell the person they can bid but you wont be able to tell them how much postage will be till royal mail is restored!

International signed for is not clear - it only gives a price for up to 2 glossy magazines and I think it'll weigh more than that as I am including the carry cot it came with...

The weight is about 800g. On international signed for it says £10.86 for that weight - does that sound right?

finland is in europe £10.86 is exactly right so add on a bit for wrapping I always add an extra layer when going abroad so I would charge hger £12. make sure the box is sturdy I have sent stuff to finland it is fine good postal service should arrive in about 1 week make sure it is well packed good luck
