I don't know what to do about this buyer's claims...

I have just received this message:

^Really disappointed that basically it was washed or plunged in water and then simply put into a grey plastic mailer bag. It arrived damp, with mildew, and extremely musty/mouldy smelling. I now have to launder it again.

I'd like a good partial refund on this. When all is sorted I will leave positive feedback as everything else is ok.^

I had washed and dried this before even listing so it was about2 weeks since I had washed it before sending it, so was definitely not wet at all when I posted.

Could this have happened in transit or is she lying to get money back?

If I refuse to refund anything will ebay give her all her money back?

I feel quite upset about this as I am a good seller and always work hard to make buyers happy.

(is it not possible to report buyers like her to ebay so they can keep records???)

I don't think so unless you open a case.

I did once have someone who sent me countless emails after I asked her to combine postage. It meant I was paying £9 for postage that cost £2.61 IIRC, I didn't think I was being cheeky. Anyway I'd waited a few days after requesting the combined postage but heard nothing. Then on about day 4 or 5 she sent me several emails in one day before I even saw them. She was swearing at me loads in these emails. I just paid eventually and left her 3 neg's and reported her abusive emails. Then saw someone else had left her a couple of neg's a few days later. When I got the items, one of them wasn't the size it was listed as so opened a case, cue more swearing and even a threat to call the police (like they'd care!).
She has now been removed from ebay!

Why are there so many crazy/horrible/scheming people on ebay?! I seem to come across far more on ebay than in RL!
