but I was watching an item with interest, (actually astounded at what it went for)

Now, looking at the bidding history, has the bidder r*r just kept on placing bids, and if so why? I am puzzled as no-one else is showing as bidding at the time he/she was upping the amount

she must have been bidding in increments to try and outbid the price of £45, so went to £30 then kept trying a bit more and a bit more to top the highest bid. If she had just bid £46 instead of the £30 and the higher amounts all the lesser amounts wouldn't have been bid if that makes sense?

sorry, also if you look at the £45 that was placed earlier, on 12 Nov in the morning, then on the 13th r*r's bids were all placed trying to outbid that £45.
