how do i know if my item has been received?

i sold a couple of items last weekend, and posted them 2nd class on Sunday. i did not send them recorded, so how will i know if the buyer has received them yet? i have not had any feedback, should i email them to see if its arrived, or just wait it out?

You dont, I never understand why sellers use 2nd class postage, you only know if the buyer asks you where it is if it has not arrived or not, or if they open a dispute. If you want to know if it has arrived send signed for. Dont ask if they have it either.

thank you, it was my first time on ebay so lesson learnt! not received any feedback so i guess they will contact me shortly if the item doesnt arrive ..
