Item paid for but not marked posted, and seller unresponsive

What to do about this? Bought an item on 25 Aug, paid immediately. On 29 Aug notice it's not marked as posted, so I sent a polite msg asking if s/he had had a chance to post it. Still no response, still not marked as posted. Now, it was a bank holiday weekend, and I don't mind if it's going to be posted tomorrow, or early next week. But refusing to answer my msg is hacking me right off.

Should I send another msg? At what point do I take it further, and what exactly do I do, esp if seller refuses to answer me?

I normally wait a week until asking if an item has been posted. You have to wait 7 days to open a not received dispute - I bet you get a reply from the seller then

Maybe they are away - but why a seller would list before going on holiday is beyond me :) I had a seller who was disgusted with me for not letting him have his holiday before posting my item 10 days later, but there you are! Some sellers think they are doing you a favour selling to them :)
