Too good to be true?

I've been searching for twin screen dvd players to keep my Dcs from beating each other quiet on a trip down to the IoW.

I very, very rarely do long journeys, so it'll maybe only get used a couple of times.
So I want a cheap one...

too cheap?

Would you risk it? Confused

The seller has no feedback so you would definitely be taking a risk.

fergoose · 11/08/2011 21:23

no I wouldn't buy it - is not even a picture he took, is just a stock photo.

NoCarbsBeforeMarbs · 11/08/2011 21:25

Thanks both!

I shall stop being such a big scrooge and buy a genuine one Grin

just a thought, London location - rioters loot I wonder?

CroissantNeuf · 11/08/2011 21:28

43 people have bought them today so are expecting the bargain of the century Hmm

MonsterBookOfTysons · 11/08/2011 21:29

Dh also thinks it is rioter loot. I want dual dvd players too, but wouldnt risk it :)

Ivortheengine8 · 11/08/2011 21:29

LOL fergoose - probably!
Definately a looted item! Grin

Think it's a safer bet!

Thanks carbs, the listing has ended now though, did you buy it in time? :)

NoCarbsBeforeMarbs · 11/08/2011 21:54

No! I was farting around on facebook! Grin

Don't need them for a few weeks though, so will just have to keep searching.

Just had a look and looks very dodgy. DH works for eBay so he's reported it as they're on the look out for potentially looted stock. I'd avoid anything like this on there for a while if it looks too good to be true and especially if the seller has no history.

MonsterBookOfTysons · 11/08/2011 22:09

Damn Carbs, what a PITA. Good luck trying to get some, I know Toys R us are doing some, dont know how much though :)

EdwardorEricCantDecide · 11/08/2011 22:14

I agree looks dodgy as seller has no history

horsemadgal · 12/08/2011 00:49

£1.56 postage??

Fuzzywood · 12/08/2011 15:35

DH texted earlier to say this listing has been removed. If you come across any more do let eBay know, they are trying to find and remove any dodgy looking listings but obviously it's difficult for them to find them all.

fergoose · 12/08/2011 16:02

how do you report - do you choose prohibited items?

fergoose · 12/08/2011 16:03

sorry just looked - bottom of the list is stolen goods.

Think I need more coffee! :)
