Ebay provided wrong address to seller they are now asking for £10 to change address

That's it basically.

I have x3 confirmation emails showing the delivery address as the correct one, but today they tried to deliver to a previous address of mine which they say ebay sent them.
They are now refusing to send it to the correct address unless I pay them £10 for change of address.
I have tried to open a resolution with ebay but they say it is too soon.
I ordered the stuff so I could get it delivered today or Monday as I am at home. I don't have another weekday when I will be at home on the horizon.

What can I do?

(Transaction worth £20 btw)

It is not too soon to open a dispute with paypal direct - just log in at paypal.co.uk and go to resolution from the top

Check your address in paypal is correct while you are there.

There have been instances in the past when eBay/PayPal have given a previous address for delivery.

Sellers should always send to the address on the PayPal transaction page, if you used eBay checkout it automatically shows you the address top left.

If you try to open a dispute via PayPal it will redirect you back to eBay as all disputes are now handled by them when you make payment via PayPal.

You can open a dispute three days after the expected delivery date.

'If you try to open a dispute via PayPal it will redirect you back to eBay as all disputes are now handled by them when you make payment via PayPal.'

This is incorrect. Log into your Paypal account and open a dispute from there. If you open the dispute lthrough your ebay account, you will go through the less successful ebay dispute resolution.

You should confirm your addresses in both ebay and paypal are correct.

Who's asking you for £10? The seller? Ask them to provide proof of failed delivery first!

Thanks for your help.

The seller had provided proof of failed delivery.

I will try a PayPal dispute resolution.
