I'm an eBay virgin - please help!

So I decided to sell a bag (Mulberry, v nice) that I have never used and has sat in a drawer for about 5 years, on eBay.

Did my listing, sorted the photos....but then it's telling me to link my Paypal to my bank account and my account will be credited with £1 or something. Then I ended up and a bit because I thought it was simple!

Have I gone wrong somewhere? Or do I need to do this? It seems rather convoluted!

make sure you send out the bag to the registered address with paypal by special delivery (just to be sure it is fully insured and you are covering yourself).

OK thanks fergoose, I have done it now. Still a bit baffled.

I will def send out the bag by special delivery if it sells!
