Have paid - have a paypal receipt - but the money hasn't left my bank account?

Am I missing something here?

Bought an ipod touch fri pm
Paid immediatley after having best offer accepted
Got Paypal email confirming I'd paid
Says transaction 'complete' on Paypal
But money not not left bank account 3 days later - not even pending.

Is it something to do with it being an ipod? Do I have to receive it before funds are released?

You only paid on Friday so the payment wouldnt have been requested from your a/c yet as Sat and Sunday are not working days. It should have left your account by Tue / Wed.
Who do you bank with ?

Bank of Scotland. Normally comes off immediatley, at least off available funds then actually shows itemised on statement day later

Right they do use 'real time banking' but I presume you use a Direct Debit to pay paypal, if so this isnt 'real time' and the systems dont operate over a weekend. If the Paypal payment says complete the debit will happen (as long as you keep the avaliable balance)
