This is probably a REALLY stupid question, but I've never come across this issue before in about 9 years of using ebay. I bought a large, collection-only item on Thursday & paid on the day via Paypal (I asked about cash on collection, as it seemed easier all round, but she prefered paypal)
I collected the item today, but the seller mentioned she'd not had the money, just a message saying "Payment Pending". I double checked, found the payment confirmation & presumed it was all sorted my end. I've just had a message from paypal saying the payment is unclaimed, & it might be something to do with the seller's email address being wrong.
Can anyone tell me what's going on here, & who needs to sort it? It sounds to me as if she needs to do something (not me), but as I now have her item, & she apparently doesn't have any money, I just wanted to check.
