Responding to Bidder Questions

Hi all,

Another newbie here hoping someone will be able to help me answer some inane questions I have.

Put my first item ever on for sale last night, have listed as an auction with a reserve price as I don't know how valuable the item is/what people are prepared to pay (classic motorbike)

A friend of mine who claims to have e-bay experience told me to put a disclaimer on my listing advising that the item is also for sale elsewhere and could be removed from auction at any time (it isn't but might be)

This morning I had a bidder ask me how much I want for the item since it's advertised elsewhere.

Bit stuck now since it's a reasonable question to ask considering I put the disclaimer on but I haven't a clue how much to ask for atm - that's the point of the auction atm.

Anyone know of an appropriate answer I could give? Do you answer all questions from bidders/buyers?

Don't want to be rude but I put a reserve on for a reaon and genuinly don't know a price atm.

Thanks in advance if you got this far :)

tbh I would remove listing straight away and get it properly valued.
A local bike dealer will be able to point you in the direction of someone who knows about classic bikes
