posting to Ireland

Does it cost more to send to Ireland from Scotland?I'm trying to work out post costs and just weighed the item on my scales.It's come up as quite a lot(£11)Is that right?

It depends! Does the address have a postcode? If not it will cost more! I think N.Ireland is same as England, Scotland,Wales, Jersey etc but S.Ireland is classed as out of the UK!
