paypal question

I bought an item on the 5th may and was wondering why it still hadnt arrived as it says it would be by now., I have been checking my summary to see when seller has dispatched but so far its the payment was marked as paid because it was done through paypal but only today was the dispatched box marked, but when i hover over the payment it says payment was today 10 may, even though the item was bought and paid for on 5th may. so why is it that when i click contact seller (re where is my item? ) it says payment was received by seller today?
has paypal changed in some way?

was it an echeque so only just cleared on the 10th

The only way you will find out is by asking the seller I guess?

no it shouldnt have been e-cheque i paid it the same way i pay it every other time its just annoying me that i have been waiting patiently for something that hasnt even been posted yet due to a fault? with paypal :(

unless the seller marked the item as unpaid, and then marked it as paid again today?

Don't know why they would do that - but you don't know for sure it was a paypal error.

Email the seller and ask?
