Hi Ebay Experts!

Once an item has been listed (it went live at 2pm today) can you add a reserve price?

My foolish friend has listed an item that he paid £1700 for and he hasnt put a reserve price. He has put a buyitnow of £1500.

If he cant put a reserve price can he withdraw the listing and then relist it later that day (with a reserve price!)

I hope that makes sense and that someone can help!

:)

For the nosey its a van that he bought (on thursday) and now he has changed his mind and wants to sell it on again......................

And the fool didnt put a reserve price!

He is convinced it will sell for more than the buy it now - Im not so sure (I wouldnt buy it!!!!)
There is nothing wrong with it as such (well apart from the fact that its ancient and ugly!)

Hi,
I've had a look at my listings and the options to edit them and can't see how to add in a reserve. The best thing would probably be to end the listing and then re-list with a reserve. Hope that helps, if not someone cleverer will be a long in a bit!
