open a non payment dispute - chances are they will pay straight away, if not you will get your fees back

I have my ebay set up to start the non-payment thing automatically. Mine starts after four days but i think if you are 'newer' you can only set it up to start at seven days.

I only started selling very recently and give people 4 days (the minimum) before opening a payment dispute. I have no time for bidders that then do nothing and think they should be dealt with strongly by ebay. So far I've opened 2 - one paid immediately, the other not at all and I got the fees back & relisted.

I no how you feel, I sold a pair of next sandals last saturday, sent an invoice sunday evening as she had bid on them early in the week and possibly hadn't been back on to see she had won.
No response so Wednesday did the non payment thing, sent a message to her saying I had done so and that if she didn't want to go ahead for her to let me no!
Get a reply saying 'Been away for Bank Holiday at a wedding and do want them' Still no payment.
She has until tomorrow to pay and then they will be relisted, So god damn annoying!

I must admit I usually give people a bit of leeway over holiday periods, but I agree it is a pain, especially if it means special trips to the PO etc..
