do you have a link to your item?

CointreauVersial · 30/04/2011 17:18

It's a Bank Hol weekend, and the sun is shining! People have got better things to do than sit at their computers all day.

Err......Hmm

MadMemoo · 30/04/2011 17:19

I've listed 4 items this weekend and got quite a lot on interest

Tortoise · 30/04/2011 17:24

No need for the Hmm. Items are on 7 day listing so had plenty of time for views and watchers!

my items, probably just nothing anyone wants at the moment! Really skint and need some money!

Calm down dear, think that was a ref to all of us being on the pc.

CointreauVersial · 30/04/2011 17:28

Indeed it was.

In case the irony of my comment was lost on you!

Pancakeflipper · 30/04/2011 17:30

Bit slow. Listed lots of Boden and Gap last night... No lookers yet. Bah

Pancakeflipper · 30/04/2011 17:31

Oops - sorry just checked and looks like everyone has had enough BBQ's cos only 3 of my items not got a watcher.

Tortoise · 30/04/2011 17:37

I hate it when clothes are pictured on the floor rather than hanging, puts me off bidding

Tortoise · 30/04/2011 18:18

I see your point. It's getting to hang nicely that I find hard. Some things just hang funny lol.

Mine's doing okay - have 35 watchers on one dress which is really strange, it's only People tree?!?

wheresmywaist · 30/04/2011 19:00

Have you got a buy/sell/swap on facebook locally?

Tortoise · 30/04/2011 19:58

Not heard of buy/sell/swap on facebook.

I think someone just set it up in our area recently, it grows really fast with people adding friends and just gives you a place to get rid of stuff :) That people tree dress just sold for £21! Confused

Tortoise · 02/05/2011 10:50

Thanks, will have a look.
Slowly getting a couple of watchers, just need them to bid now lol!

How did they do?
We had a local facebook buy/sell where I used to live. I keep meaning to check if there's one local to where I am now?

Tortoise · 05/05/2011 17:07

Not too bad thanks. Sold 10 out of 27 items. Boden skirt did well. Need to get some more items on.

Is there a dress agency near you? I gave up selling on ebay when they brought in the new rules in favour of buyers tbh, I had been screwed over too many times by chancers getting refunds and keeping items :( I think ebay traffic may have gone down greatly actually, just last month we got an absolute bargain Mountain Buggy for when we go camping later in the year for £30 Shock I can only assume we got very very lucky or people just aren't using ebay the way they used to. When we had the very same buggy for dd years ago we sold it on ebay for over £300 Confused

Curiousmama · 05/05/2011 19:17

That's good you sold a fair few. I'm amazed at the low prices on there nowadays.
