How did you pack it????

I don't have the original box so where on earth do I find a box big enough?

Is bubble wrap and bin bags acceptable?

It will have to be sent by courier .

Hi, I sold one on eBay but I specified Collection Only - some chap drove 100 miles to collect it!

However, I have sent surfboards etc by courier when I've eBayed them, and my advice would be to phone a few courier companies to check what they recommend you use (e.g UPS, TNT, Parcelforce, CityLink, etc etc - just have a look on yell.com or Google for couriers in your area).

Small local courier firms may well be cheaper than the well-known names.

You should be able to get away with bubble wrap, but the courier firms will be able to tell you how/where to get hold of the right stuff, and how to weigh and label your package etc.
