Just sold a bundle of childrens clothes this afternoon to a buyer with low feedback (19) who appears to be registered in france, yet seems to have escaped my settings as has requested sending to a postal address in the UK.

The clothes in my bundle are in good used condition and all the marks etc have been pointed out. One top in particular has some paint stains on it but there are photos and this was clearly stated in the listing.

Just looked at her feedback she has left for others though, and out of the 19, 3 have been a neutral which is a fairly high percentage. I think the neutrals have been awarded unfairly as she gave a nice positive comment such as 'lovely clothes thanks'

Am I right to feel uneasy in this transaction ?

I would be a little uneasy too! But maybe you can pull it off with a quick message when you post the items. You know, one of those ' just to let you know I've dispatched your package. Please leave positive feedback when they are received, or let me know if there are any problems' type messages.

Nothing much you can do really. Just post and hope for the best. If she leaves a neutral but with a good comment then people who read it will see it and think it was a mistake on the buyer's part.

I'd say the same as knickers, if I see neutral feedback but with a good comment about the seller I treat it as a positive. I assume most others do the same. I also see a lot of people who leave negatives, but with a message like "item as expected came quickly", so should be a positive.

With regards to the buyer being registered in France but with a UK address. DH and I share an ebay account, it was his (he's Danish) before I moved to Denmark, so obviously registered in Denmark. But we use my mum's address to send most things to, and then she either sends stuff on, keeps hold of it until we visit next, or brings it with her, so perhaps that person has the same set up going? We're not doing it to deliberately mislead people or get round peoples' settings, but when we have the option of sending items to a UK address it does mean we can buy from people who will only send to the UK.

Hope it's a smooth transaction though, sorry about the ramble!
