Tell me why the 99p ones haven't sold but the ones over £100 have!?

I think I must be missing something.

Looking at completed listings for a phone I might buy. The phones listed at 99p have not sold but yet the more expensive ones have!

What have I missed here, are they scams or soemthing before I try and buy a phone for 99p. LOL

Haven't looked at the link, but are the 99p ones abroad (usually China)?

I personally would buy something from Britain so it doesn't have to be posted as far.

Ignore this if it isn't the case.

I've only clicked on a couple of them, but they both said that the auction was ended by the seller. So it's not that they didn't sell because there was no interest.

Oh I thought I had missed something and I was right - I did wonder! Thanks

Hmm not sure about all of them but the first seller has no history at all either buying or selling and wrote no description about the phone. Anotherone started at 00.01p sounds dodgy - often they come from abroad although he claims to be in the UK.
All "unlocked" though - makes me think they are not necessarily genuine.

I wouldn't buy a mobile from ebay again.
DD bought one a couple of years ago and we had major hassles with it. I assumed it was somebody selling their old phone but the phone arrived without a charger as the owner had 'lost' it abroad. So we bought a new charger.
Then, DD couldn't use the camera as it asked for a password. When we contacted the seller for the password, they were very evasive and not much help. Made me think that the phone was probably stolen, so I left them negative feedback which they didn't like at all.
Won't be doing that again.

Perhaps I'll just stick to the one I have then! LOL

If you look at the listings most of them say at the top that the listing was ended by the seller as the item was no longer available. They must have just sold them to someone 'outside' ebay.
