Feedback settings

Why do some feedback show the value of the item sold for and some not? Can I change my settings so that the value of my item doesn't show?

I thought it was the prices of things you sold that showed up but the prices of things you bought didn't. But if you click view the item you can see the price anyways.
A private auction they won't show the price or the item though.
