last week i listed my pram and this happened, i agreed to sell to a person who would pay cash on collection but then she didn't show up Angry. i relisted it and again despite many watchers it didn't sell, now ive been contacted again by two people to sell it and am not sure what to do.

everything else i sold last week to go with teh pram went fine its just the actual pram i need to sell now!!!

Tough. They really ought to have bid when it was listed. Perhaps you could just do a shorter listing and ask them to bid?

what about if you give them a BIN price that you're happy with and start the bidding at that price, ie, that the starting price rather than listing a BIN price (ie, more fees) if you're desperate to get it out of the house?

recently i was contacted and asked whether i would sell something that hadn't sold. gave a price i was happy with, relisted (fortunately on a free listing w/end) and she bought at that price, i then ended the listing early.

ohcobblers ive done that now but they didnt like my price which was just 10 quid more than what she wanted to pay, which is a real shame as i was selling it as a 100percent charity listing so the extra tenner would not be going in my pocket!! Im still waiting for the other person toreply

i guess i was wondering if this is a tactic buyers use to get an item for less, ie not bid then offer to buy when theyre not competing against other buyers? Dunno but am suspicious now its happened to me twice in 2 weeks...

Thanks :)
