Packaging material for pushchair...

Hello

I have a large mutsy double pushchair to post by courier and have no idea where to get a box big enough to put it in, or alternatively large cardboard wrap type stuff to wra\p it in. Any ideas where I can get these?

I listed as pick up only twice and had no bids but several people that would be interested if it were offered with courier option so am resigned to the fact I have to post.

So I think lots of bubblewrap, sellotape and cardboard should do it, but where to get cardboard....

Any ideas and general pushchair posting tips appreciated!

I recently sold a pushchair, but it was only a stroller - I put it down as collection only but someone 400 miles away still bought it, grr!

Anyway, I wrapped it in bubble wrap and brown packaging paper & it was collected by courier, and I was told it got there in perfect condition.

This may not be suitable for a Mutsy though as it'd be heavier and bulkier than mine was.

I've got cardboard before from a supermarket, they got a huge box from the warehouse for me, alternatively maybe somewhere like Toys R Us?

I used www.parcelmonkey.co.uk to find the cheapest courier.

I would also suggest putting a few pictures on eBay (if you haven't already) showing as much of the pushchair as possible, from different angles, folded / unfolded, state dimensions, etc.

Hope you mange to sell it this time!

I've also used parcelmonkey to send two pushchairs with no hassle. I couldn't get a box so we just bubblewrapped it lots and then wrapped it in black bags so it was totally sealed.

Thanks for your responses! Very frustrating humanfraggle re: stating collection only and then being forced to send anyway. I think I'll try the supermarket for cardboard and like you both say plenty of bubblewrap.

Thanks again.
